Terms and Conditions
1 - Prices indicated are per month. Welcome Aboard Pass is valid for purchase between 14 December 2006 and 3 January, 2007 and is valid for travel from January 9th to March 6th, 2007 regardless of date of purchase. Purchaser must commit to two month subscription period. First instalment is due at time of purchase. Subsequent monthly billing will follow on the anniversary date of the initial payment and will be triggered automatically by charging the credit card used at time of purchase.
Early termination by purchaser of the Subscription period shall entitle Air Canada to charge a Termination Fee of $300, which may be charged to the initial form of payment. Overdue payments of 15 days or more will be deemed to be early termination, entitling Air Canada to the Termination Fee as well as the cancellation for bookings made prior to termination of the Subscription period for travel post-termination. Purchaser is responsible to advise Air Canada of any changes in validity of credit card on file.
2 - Flight Pass bookings are non-transferable and can only be used by the purchaser. Travel is valid for travel from January 9th to March 6th, 2007 regardless of date of purchase. All travel must be completed by March 6th 2007. Bookings using flight credits can be made up to 1hour prior to departure. Air Canada Flight Pass products are not refundable. Flight credits may only be used on flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz, and Air Canada Regional Partners with Air Canada flight numbers. Flight connections displayed in My Flight Pass Bookings are the only eligible connections for booking flight credits.
Availability is based on Tango Plus booking class "B" Seats may not be available on all flights, and must be booked on eligible days.
When purchasing 2 Day Option, travel is permitted on Tuesday and Saturday only.
When purchasing 3 Day Option, travel is permitted on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday only.
Some routes may be seasonal and are subject to change.
Advance seat selection is complimentary when done at time of booking on Aircanada.com. Fees may apply for any transactions done through an Air Canada Call Centre.
3 - Upgrades: Air Canada top tier Upgrade Certificates are permitted only, as per the terms and conditions on the certificate.
4 - Changes are subject to availability
Change/Cancel fee of $40CAD applies and is subject to availability and day of week restrictions where applicable.
Any flight booked and not cancelled at least one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure will result in a penalty fee of $150.00 if passenger does not travel. This fee will be charged automatically to the original form of payment
5 - * Pass owner earns Air Canada Status Miles per month for the duration of the subscription by the following criterion:
Welcome Aboard Pass 2 Day Option - 2,000 per month
Welcome Aboard Pass 3 Day Option - 3,000 per month
* No other Aeroplan Miles or other airline frequent flyer or loyalty program miles will be awarded in conjunction with Welcome Aboard Passes.
* Flight segments from a Welcome Aboard Pass do not qualify for Air Canada Top Tier status.
Please allow 10 to 15 business days from the time each payment is processed for the miles to be posted to your Aeroplan account.
6 - Flight Passes are available to Canadian residents only as per their Aeroplan profile.
7 - Purchase Incentive
As an added incentive, customers who purchase Welcome Aboard Pass - 3 Day Option will receive a complimentary 2 credit Welcome Aboard Promo Pass, valid for travel any day of the week, between April 10th and May 10th, 2007 for the same zone purchased.
Customers will receive email notification by February 28th, 2007 with instructions on how to redeem the Complimentary Welcome Aboard Promo Pass.
