I am looking at the new homes around scotia bank place. The next 417 exit is carp road. I am wondering how would the carp-dump affect the living standard around those areas?

Any opinions would be appreciated,

No really. It is at same distance to carp dump as most stittsvile homes. I did not see the home price was affected in stittsvile.

However, would the housing price be dropped dramatically in the near future if the 3-time expnasion plan be approved? I know that minto will have a new developement in that area very soon. Most importantly, would 5-6 kilo distance from Carp dump affect one's healthy?

Another site from the same builder is located south of the Jock River, west of Jockvale Road and Half Moon Bay (Barrhaven, close to south side of Strandherd Drive, west of Greenbank),

Which site has better prospect regarding housing appreciation, living envirement (schools, public transports, shoppings..)

Very appreciated for your analysis and opinions.

The trail road dump is very close to that Barrhaven site.

For the carp dump, 5-6 kilo will include most of kanata lake which is highest price in kanata. The expnasion plann was last year's news and dump was there before kanata even existed, if it will affect house price it should already did. I guess this should answer your question.

"prospect regarding housing appreciation" whose knows. Beause the answer is based on who live there. Highly educated,. high income people live there, the house price goes up and school record will be perfect.The shopping and transportion will follow up. For new building site no body knows untill most house are built and sold. You only can guess if most homes are large single, the place should have good future.
