Anybody here have had the pleasure dealing with this pediatric dentiistry, with Dr. Nikoui and Dr. Corbeil? If you ask me, I am not too too impressed. Well, the office is beautiful, often you forget that you are in the dentist's, walls are painted into a playground, kids can watch their favourite movie in the session, nurses wear colourful outfits with cut pins (don't get any ideas!)......until you get your bill, with 100% dental coverage at my benefit, I often have to pocket the $50-100 for each visit. That's what they charge more than the standard fee for the same service. So everytime I am there, I feel so proud and when I looked at the wall, I will pick a flower and self-claim the proud owner. I have tons of time to do so, as they keep me waiting for hours, even we arrived in time for our appointments. But yesterday, I am late, 20 minutes late, including the full 5 minutes being put on hold while I called them to notify our being late. Oh well, they cancelled the appointment and we had to reschedule......
We have come to a point that we definitely need to look elsewhere. Had I been the patient myself, I'd been long gone. But when the teeth of your only child is involved, you'd think twice and wanted the best service for him. The thing is, none of us is familiar with the pediatric dentistry industry here in Ottawa. So I am writing here, hoping someone can share their experience, pointing a nice exit for us. Thanks a million.
