加拿大移民问题求教

我的问题是：

我是加拿大公民，在一家电脑公司工作，已婚并有一个2岁的女儿，没有其他亲属在加拿大。我哥哥的女儿13岁，在国内读初二，我想担保我哥哥的女儿移民到加拿大是否符合上述条件？(特别是最后一条， 从字面上来理解好象可以)

请这方面专家赐教。

Yes, you may sponsor your nephew immigration to Canada because she is still 13 years old and meets the eligibility as family sponsored immigration. For more information, you may visit www.onlineimmigration.org

No. From the regulations you posted, I don't think you can do it.

* you may also sponsor one relative of any age if you do not have an aunt, uncle or family member from the list above who you could sponsor or who is already a Canadian citizen, Indian or permanent resident.

you cannot sponsor your brother's daughter since you have a family member(your brother) from the list above(Number 5).

So I think the way it requires is that, you sponsor your brother first, and then he sponsor his daughter.

But you'd better to consult an lawyer for that.

Don't trust any agent who say 'Yes' to you. They just want to

你侄女属於第三条里列的亲属，不是孤儿，肯定不行。最后一条的前提是你没有前三条内列的亲属要担保，你侄女本就是第三条中的一类，没有可能的。
13岁小孩还未成年，有自己的法定监护人(她父母)，你不是合法收养，怎么能够带她离开她父母？
考虑留学吧，你担保她移民是不可能了。

yaya001：有必要这样吗？你哥哥对这边的情况不够了解，倒也无妨，可你是对这边情况有一定了解的，是吗？出国了又能怎样？是块真金到哪儿都会发光。

再说了，对一个女孩子来说，13岁是一个刚刚步入心理矛盾期的年龄，远离父母，缺少沟通，形成了怪癖的性格，真是得不偿失呀。

劝劝你哥哥吧。
