租房合同是自动 renew 的吗？
如果是， 那是否可以等合同到期再搬出？

If the newowner is going to continue with the rental business, then you may remain the same status.

If the new owner is going to use the property for his/her personal use, then you are entitle to have 3 month, from the signing date, to look for a new place.

I assume your "signing date" is the date they sign to trade the house,
but the old owner gave me the notice much earlier than the signing date.

Are there any legal documents I can look at on the net?

If the new owner is going to use the property for his/her personal use, your agreement still valid before it expires. And the new owner must notify you 2 months before the expiration date. That means you still have the right to live there until the term is over.
