请教：Nortel 面试 -- 1 小时怎么过

大家好，我是新人。 冒昧问一下， 那位有Nortel 面试经验，能否谈谈，体会也行。最好是计算机工程方面。

非常紧张，不知道1 小时怎么过。

Basic interview questions:

1) What are you strengths and weakness?
2) Can you please tell me what you know about Nortel, and why do you want to work for Nortel?
3) How do you see yourself contributing to Nortel's success?
4) What do you see yourself 5 years from now?
5) Tell me about the program at school? What did you learn from the past 4 years of study? What is your favourite course and why?
6) Any other out-of-school activities?
7) What kind of work experience do you have other than studying? If you have work experience, you will be asked about your past work experience and your role.


At the end, when you are asked "DO you have any questions?", you can ask the following:

1) Nortel has been the hi-tech centre of excellence in Canada. Every one is proud to work for Nortel. Do you mind telling me more about the CEO's strategy? (Make sure you know the name of the CEO - Mike Z)

2) How many R&D locations are there at Nortel?

3) Can you please tell me more about the organization structure within Nortel?

4) What kind of process is currently used for software development release?

Make sure you tell the hiring manager that you want to be part of the Nortel teams to turn around Nortel.

I think for the last section: "Do you have any question?". I will avoid all the sharp questions.

They hire because they need certain skillset, they fired because the skillset is no longer needed.
Therefore, if they interested in you, and you like to gain some experience by working with Nortel. Then you should ask question regarding the position, the hiring processes, and the daily life of such an employee like me.

Or you can even ask what skillset is Nortel looking for from my resume?
