关于让孩子上Early French Immersion 的利与蔽,请大家各抒己见.

how can I get info about which pre-k has french immersion program?

Is every kindergarden has french immersion program?

My concern is the Early French Immersion will lead the kids to grade6. If they have difficulties in math or other majors, as parents we won't be able to help them out because we don't know any French.
I think there are different French programs provided in defferent schools,you can get the information through this website:www.ocdsb.ca

To me, it's only 利, pure bonus, if your kid can handle it. Specially if you start his/her reading in English earlier (like master it before grade 1), then learning French would be a piece of cake for them.

If they learn french totally through grade1 to grade5 how can they be able to ask question in English . Where they will learn English?

What I know is that kids usually speak English during recesses and at play ground. Also My son read a lot English books at home. I thinks his English is fine at least in speaking and reading. My concern is that I am not able to help in French.
