To Import Furnitures from China

I believe this topic will be beneficial to quite a few families who moved into a new house and looking for new furnitures.

I found the cost of the Hardwood furniture in Canada is exceptionally high and not many selections available. Randall's seems to sell some good quality furniture made in US, but the price is crazy.

Anyone has imported furnitures from China or other countries in Asia? Do you know the taxes and customs fees on top of the original cost? I have looked up on ebay, which provides a third party tool to calculate the taxes and fees through the customs. However, any experience from the buyers who imported furnitures before will be more practical and accurate.

usually you can take orders here and then order from asia. The typical shipment period here is about 3 months. So all you need is to set up a website and sell the furnitures on line. You need zero cash to start the business. you can build your showroom later.
