If you will purchase the house using a mortgage, remember to include the condition of 'Financial arrangement by (5 business days from your signature date) ' in the purchase agreement. It allows you to waive your responsibility to buy this home if you do not obtain a mortage successfully within 5 days. It is important even if you already have the mortage pre-approval from banks or mortgage brokers.

Also, if you use a real estate agent (for example, 地产经纪Jeff) and your agent review the agreement, it is usually okay to sign the agreement before having your lawyer to review it.

Otherwise, if you buy a home from the seller directly. (i.e. not using your own real estate agent), it is ALWAYS a good idea to ask your lawyer to review the agreement before you sign it.
