two other items: Canadian passport and processing fee (exact change, sorry cannot remember how much)
it is better to go to border crossing points (point of entry, or POE) near Ottawa to process your TN so that you can make a U-turn to come back to Canada. In the airport, you have to fly to the US after you get the TN? good luck.
