在EBAY 上买CAR GPS NAVIGATION SYSTEM 价值US$200 -$300, 从美国寄到加拿大, 是否上海关税和PST&GST?

如果写礼品就没事

上次ebay买了个手机,他们用ups寄过来的,去拿手机的时候,还补了100多块钱,好像说是关税也不还有什么,记得不太清楚了

An item of such high value will almost certainly get hit with custom duties and taxes, even if it's written as a gift, unless it comes with a greeting card and you can prove that it did not come from a retail store...

For gifts, you are allowed up to $60 duty free, $20 otherwise. Generally for smaller items, they don't check as thoroughly, so sometimes you can get by without any fees depending on your luck.

Can't agree more. And quoted from what a ups guy said, probably using usps can skip this problem. But the thing is it might be charged more on post expenses.
 
I bought a second hand laptop on Ebay before, it's about $400, but nobody charged me tax.
 
如果是UPS的话,还要收代理费,关税不一定收,要看海关收税那个人的心情了,我遇见有的时候收,有的时候不收,没什么规律
