Need help about applying citizenship

I am applying the citizenship for my son. The CIC asked for his birth certificate. He was born in China, so his birth certificate was writen in Chinese. Is that OK if I sent them the Notary Certificate which was given by the Notary Public Office of China (I used this when I applied immigration for him). I'm really appreciated if anyone could answer me this question.

You can do the notarization here in Canada. There are quite a lot of such legal services.

It's more convenient and quicker.
