The real Kanata Lakes has wide and deep lots with mature trees and often golf course view, but the Heritage Hill (often also referred to Kanata Lakes now, but it's the other side of the Kanata Ave) has smaller lots with less or no trees.
Beaverbrook is older neighbourhood (likely the first neighourhood built in Kanata by Bill Teron) and the houses are quite old (started 1966), but it won a community design award before. Their lots are wide with natural trees, so good for bungalow. Also in the area there are many older condo townhouses and many rental townhoues which might affect the rental rate or house price, but both Kanata Lakes and Beaverbook share the same good schools.
