General Guild Rules:
1. Be respectful. at any social gathering, there will be individuals that you may or may not like. We are not asking you to like everyone, but we do insist that you are respectful of others. If you have a problem with someone, be mature about it and do not resort to personal attacks. This goes for the entire WoW community, not just in guild.
2.Try to help out fellow guildies. You do not have to drop everything to help someone, but please do your best. If a guildie is getting camped by Alliance, go help them if you are free. If someone needs help with a hard quest or boss, and you are free, help them out. Most importantly, answer your guildies if they ask a question in guild chat. If they say hi, greet them back. Every member of this guild is important, and they should all be treated with respect.
3. Do not recruit with another guild while wearing our tag. If you wish to leave us, just do it. If we find an application of yours on another guilds site, you will be immeadiately kicked from the guild.
4. Do not discuss our EGC Strategies with members outside of the guild.
5. If you chose to leave our guild, you will not be automatically allowed back in. You will have to fill out an application and start over in rank. If allowed back into the guild you will be treated the same as a new recruit.
6. Listen to the Guild leader, Raid leader,Officers, and Class leaders. If they are saying something, you can rest assured that it is not for their benefit, but for the guilds.
7 If you have a suggestion for a new strat, discuss it with your class leader and they will pass the information on up. Please avoid comments such as “My friend in ____ guild does it this way.” You will not be taken seriously if you do, as we prefer to develop our own strats, and we just don't care how the other guilds do it.
8. If you are inactive for 1 month, you will be demoted to the probation rank. If you are inactive for 2 months, you may be removed from the guild, unless you let the guild leader know first. This goes for alternates as well.
9. Once the officers and guild leader make a decision, respect that decision and follow it. Do not spout hate, do not cause dissension. If you have a problem with a decision or rule, feel free to discuss it with your class leader, officer, or the guild leader. If you have a valid argument, and you present it in a mature way, we will take your thoughts into consideration, however we reserve the right to stand by our decisions.
10. Have a sense of humor.
11. HAVE FUN!!!
Raiding Rules
Note: ALL RAIDING MEMBERS MUST FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES, OFFICERS AND CLASS LEADERS INCLUDED.
RAIDING CHAIN OF COMMAND:
1st in Command: Grubguard (Guild leader)
2nd in Command: Bloodcult, Mudnug (Raid leader)
3rd in Command: Class leaders
LIST OF OFFICERS/CLASS LEADERS:
Risto: Druid CL
Areshunter: Hunter CL
Lwh: Mage CL
Ninelife: Paladin CL
Madnug: Rogue CL
Bsbigd: Warrior CL
Sshiva:Warlock CL
Shinryuyriest CL
????:Shaman CL
In the event that one of the above people are not present for a raid, you will then listen to the person they appoint in thier place. If you deliberatly disobey their instructions, you may be removed from the raid, and asked to sit out the following weeks raid as well.
1. We understand that you may not agree with your class leader, or the raid leader at times, and if this is the case you can feel free to talk to your Class leader, the Raid leader, or the Guild leader, and try to convince us that you know best. However, this is to be reserved for after the raid. During the raid, if you wish to continue raiding, you WILL follow their directions. This is the only way to ensure a smooth run, and allow us to progress through End Game Content
2.No one should be giving orders over Ventrilo during a raid, other than the Raid Leader, Guild Leader, or Class leaders.
3. Do not lock yourself out of our EGC instances by running EGC with other guilds. If you wish to run EGC with someone else, feel free to /gquit and join them.
4. Stay out of general chat during Gruul, MAG, SSC, AND TK. While we are proud of our accomplishments, we like to keep a low profile. More often than not stupid things get spouted in general chat, and we would rather not be a part of it.
5. Do not go afk during a raid unless it is a designated break time. If you must go afk during a raid, you MUST let your class leader know that you have to go afk and for how long, then set yourself to follow on someone so you dont get left behind.
6. If you agree to come on a raid, expect to stay until the end. EGC Raids last for approx 5 hours, give or take a few
7 ALL RAID MEMBERS MUST HAVE VENTRILO AND CT_RAID
8. We have pre-designated people (appointed by the raid leader) to skin, and herb the ore in these instances. If you are not one of these people, DO NOT SKIN/HERB IT
9. DO NOT zone into an instance until told to do so by your Raid Leader or Guild Leader.
10. We prefer to run ALL guildie raids. Always open up a run to guildies first when starting up minor (non-endgamecontent) instances. We do not usually bring in people from outside guild for EGC Instances except in rare, special circumstances.
Thank you and enjoy the raids!
DKP Breakdown:
1. You will earn 1 attendance points for showing up to the raid on time.
2. You will earn 2 points per boss kill.
3. Occasionally, when learning a new boss, 3x bonus points may be awarded to everyone.
4. You will earn 2 points for staying until the raid is called
5. You will earn "drops dkp" (COST OF THE DROPS/25)
Our DKP Site: www.zhe.ca/dkp
We do not bid on items in this guild. If you have the highest DKP of your class and an item drops that you can use, you have the option of taking it or passing it on to the next person on the Dkp list. If you pass, the next person in your class on the list will get the option to pass or take the item and so on.
The DKP site will be updated prior to the next day's run. Please be patient while we update the site. Bloodcult, and Madnug are working their asses off to get it done quickly and correctly, and trust me, it is not an easy job. If you notice an error, or if your name is not on the list yet, please let your class leader know, and they will bring it up with one of the Raid Leaders who updates the Dkp Sites. Screen shots are taken of each raid, so you will earn your points. The more raids you attend, the more points you will have to spend.
Alternate Characters:
Alts are allowed to be brought in place of a main to all runs except SSC and TK, where it is important that each person know their class extremely well. (Unless asked to fill in a certain class, on very rare occasions). Everyone will pick one of their characters to be their “main”. DKP totals will be tallied to this one character to avoid confusion and allow for easy loot distribution. If you wish to bring an alt to SSC/TK, you must get permission from class leaders of BOTH classes. (If your main is a priest and your alt is a rogue, it must be ok'd by both the Priest CL and the Rogue CL for example.) The decision will be based on the number of each class available for the specified run. As each class is only allowed so many spots per raid.
Alternate Character DKP/Loot:
As previously stated, DKP will be awarded to your “main” character. If you run an alt, you will earn the same number of points as if you brought your main. To avoid alts gearing up faster than mains, while still allowing alts to get loot, you will be allowed to spent 30% of your “mains” DKP on any given run. So if you have 1000 DKP, and you bring an alt, your alt can spend up to 300 DKP. No matter what character you play you earn the same DKP overall.
Switching your Main to Alternate:
We understand that you may get a character to 70 and realize you hate that class. If you wish to switch from your main to your alt permanently, first you MUST get the permission of both the main and the alt class leaders. For example, if you are a priest and want to be a rogue, you must discuss it with the Priest CL and the Rogue CL. DKP penalties will be enforced if you choose this path, however. You will permanently lose 85% of your DKP total. This will discourage people from gearing up a character and then constantly switching in an effort to gear up every character they have. So if you wanted to make your rogue your main, and you had 1000 DKP, you would start with 150 DKP. This applies EACH TIME you switch. (So if you wanted to make a different character your main again, you will again lose 85%)
What Class gets What Loots?
We have now implemented who gets what loot (i.e., what classes are entitled to what loot) using a great site called www.wow-loot.com. When an item drops (specifically in SSC amd TK), we refer to this site to see what classes are entitled to it, and in what priority. So if your ever in doubt, about if your class is entitled to an item before another class, check this site However THE TANK WILL ALWAYS HAVE PORIORITY TO LOOK TANKING GEAR BEFORE ANY CLASS.
Ventrilo Rules:
1. Your phonetic in Vent MUST match your main characters name. So that when you log onto the Vent Server, we know who it is that is logging in.
2. Your Vent Name MUST match your main characters name.
3. DO NOT, under any cercumstances, give our Vent Password out to those who are not in our guild.
4. Keep Vent clear during raids. If you must speak to someone do it in chat, we know it is easier for you to just say it, but that clutters up the airwaves, and disrupts our raids. If you persist to speak out of turn, you will be globally muted in Vent.
