We are looking for a driven, hands-on financial wizard who is ready to get on the bus and drive our Accounting and Finance department. You will have the opportunity to shape, define and manage all departmental processes. You want to be challenged in your work and recognized and rewarded when you go above and beyond (which is often!) Responsibilities
• Overseeing day-to-day management of finance and accounting processes
• Ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping is completed
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for management
• Designing and maintaining appropriate financial controls
• Managing the quarterly and annual budgeting process
• Building and maintaining cash flow projections tied to operating budgets, creating growth forecasts
• Working with auditors to complete tax-related filings and the annual review/audit of financial statements
• Maintaining relationships with financial institutions
Qualifications
• University degree and professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
• Experience within a top-tier accounting firm as well as operating experience and familiarity with the challenges faced by fast-growth companies
• At least 5 years of related work experience, ideally with at least 2 years experience in an entrepreneurial environment
