Hi folks,
As most of you knew already, we are planning to have a one-day trip to Lake Philippe. The planned activities would be:
1. Potluck (please bring some foods for lunch)
2. Volleyball games (Tiejun will bring a net with him. Thanks Tiejun)
3. Boating/swimming or even going to a cave.
There are two activity areas over there. We will be going to the farther one (closer to camping side) where there is a bigger sand area for playing v-ball and swimming. Please find the path about how to get there as follows:
Destination: Philippe Lake
From Ottawa-Gatineau:
From the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge, take Highway 5 North to the end. Turn right at the stop sign and then left at the traffic light, onto Highway 105 North. Continue for about 8 kilometers and then turn left onto Highway 366 West. After approximately 6 kilometers, make a left turn at the red covered bridge to enter the Philippe Lake Sector.
Normally it would takes you less than 1 hour to go there. So, let's meet there around 10:00am.
