Catalogue Research Position
- Maintain updated/current status of the Organization’s line catalogues. Research and develop product line catalogues to final print.
- Perform data research to determine new parts/products for current models, makes, years of vehicles. Research via OEM microfiches and competitor catalogues.
- Source and obtain OEM new product samples as needed for QC library.
- Research competitor catalogue data to provide for crossover and interchange data. Maintain catalogues current with this information.
-Research full extent of new product/parts application and keep catalogues updated with this information.
- Organize and maintain updated status of Price List Library. Perform research to determine product/part number prices from OEM dealers and competitors. Maintain competitor price comparisons.
- Maintain updated status of QC Product Library, updated status of OEM Sample Photo Albums, and maintain database of competitor crossovers.
- Organize and keep updated Library of competitor Catalogues and Library of OEM Microfiches.
- Photograph parts of the factory when needed.
- Send lists of pending parts to be photographed to supervisor.
- Compiling and mailing CD’s of images to different clients.
- Maintain back-up of all images.
Skills Required:
- Must have automotive parts experience.
- Must have excellent computer skills (Photoshop 7)
- Must have strong analytical abilities and aptitude.
- Must be self driven, requires minimal supervision.
- General Office Skills.
Salary: $40k+
