Police are asking the public to help solve the homicide of Ottawa commissionaire Paul-André Simard four months ago by identifying people pictured in a series of images.

The 14 images, which appear to be security camera stills taken in March, and show shoppers at Ottawa-area Home Depot stores, are posted on the police service's website.

"The persons pictured are customers … conducting honest and legitimate business," said an Ottawa police news release issued Thursday.

Police told CBC News that the people in the photos are not suspects, but that officers would like to speak to them.

Simard, 63, was found dead inside his bungalow on Meadowlands Drive on the evening of April 3 after he failed to show up for his shift at work.

On May 10, police released images of a woman taken at the Rideau Centre two days after Simard's death, saying they wanted to speak with her.
