I suggest that you go to Toronto to get your glasses. Cheaper than those in Ottawa.

My brother-in-law got a pair of bifocal eyeglasses with progressive lenses (rimless frames) and detachable sunglass lens. All for $300. Can you believe that? The same at Tri Optical 真光眼镜 at Chinatown will cost you around $600-700.

Just ask the Toronto store to mail to you.

If you don't want to go to Toronto, go to Costco for cheaper eyeglasses. But their selection is limited though.

Thanks. It's so nice of you. The only problem is that I need the store to meature my eyes for the right size. So I may have to go to a store to buy one. I didn't know it's so expensive to buy glasses here.

Which Hakim did you mean? I went to Hakim on Rideau street just now, but their price is sky high.
