Description:

BUSINESS UNIT DESCRIPTION

CIBC Global Recruitment Strategies is part of the Human Resources, Centralized Services Group. The team provides strategic direction to enterprise wide recruitment programs, streamlines recruitment processes and provides progressive recruitment technology for the CIBC Group of Companies and its stakeholders. Primary focus for the team: policy development, campus recruitment, internet strategies, intake & outreach programs, vendor strategies, consulting services and benchmarking research.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Campus Recruitment Coordinator acts as a key liaison between schools, students and the business. He/She provides support for the various recruitment activities, including job postings, information sessions, interviewing, offers, and orientations.


1. Interacting with schools to schedule and arrange logistics for information sessions, campus events, and on-campus interview bookings
2. Assisting with in-house interviews by coordinating and scheduling facilities and contacting students
3. Inputting job postings to the Recruitment Management System
4. Preparing interview materials (schedules, binders, and maps)
5. Co-ordinating candidate/consultant travel through AMEX
6. Acting as a key contact and support to students and internal clients while Consultants are on campus
7. Attending campus information sessions as a company representative when required
8. Assisting in coordinating and scheduling facilities and catering for new employee orientation and/or special in-house events
9. Preparing and processing offer-letters and new hire paperwork for new hire files
10. Co-ordinating with the Pre-Employment Screening Team for due diligence checks.
11. Assisting with the process of declining candidates
12. Supporting Campus Recruitment tracking and filing
13. Ordering supplies as needed and maintaining inventory of stationary for orientation packages and offer packages
14. Recommending and implementing improvements to administrative activities
15. Providing administrative support to Consultants as required

- Due to the project nature of this role, evening and weekend work will occasionally be required.
