The Extended Payment Charge (EPC)

The EPC is an interest-like charge that accrues on unpaid student account balances. It is calculated and applied to an individual's account on the last working day of each month in which the student is currently registered . It is assessed at the rate of the University's bank's prime as at September 1 each year, plus 1%. The EPC continues to accrue on a student's account at the end of every month until the account balance is cleared or until the academic session ends.

Note: If you plan to pay your fees in two installments, be aware that the EPC will accrue on the deferred portion of your account balance.

Carleton's current EPC rate is 7% per annum. This rate will change on September 1st, 2007.

其实自己今天把个人支票丢在business office的那个drop off box，学校就算交上了

我前几天就从网上交了，可是今天查carleton central的时候为什么把我fall term的学费算做summer的了？fall的还是显示没交，而summer显示多交了7000多。。。汗~它会自动变么？
