If groundhogs dug holes and live in your backyard like they did to mine, my neighbor gave me a recipe that seems to work quite well: Mix Pinesol (all-purpose cleaner) with human urine and soap water, and pour it into the hole, the groundhogs won't even come near!!

Note that you'll probably have to reapply the solution after few rains... good luck!

They dig a hole in my backyard too. What I did was. Pour some gas in. It basically get they off my backyard. Then fill the hole with quick dry cement (I got it from HD. It is used to set fence pole). Pour water in to harden the cement, seal the hole forever.
I guess they are digging holes in my neighbour’s yards.
