自己注册了公司还能继续领EI吗?! -- 急!!

已经开始领EI 了, 可是我刚刚有注册了一个自己的公司 (以我自己的名字), 这样一来我还可以继续领EI吗?

请有经验的大侠指导, 谢谢!!!

collecting EI shouldn't be international student

只有你没有工作的话就可以继续领EI，就算你有公司也不怕，可以的！！你可以打去EI那里问问！！

Int'l student can collect EI for sure, coz lots students work on-campus, EI will be deducted from paycheques and it is law. But if you are the owner of a company and you may not be consider as employees anymore, there shouldn't be any EI deducted from your paycheque, because basically it means u are not an employee. EI should be for employees.

You can't apply for EI

since you're the owner /president of the company, you can't apply for EI benifit.
