紧急求助-回国入境

有急事想回国一趟，但申请加拿大护照需要等一段时间。请问如果已经入籍, 在仍然保留PR卡的情况下，能不能用中国护照入境，PR卡会不会被海关没收，有没有朋友有类似经验的？

Just use Chinese passport to go back China. You don't even have to worry about the Visa. When you come back, just show your PR card at Canadian custom.

Both your Chinese passport and the Canadian PR card have to be VALID until you come back to Canada. If any of them expires/expired, you could have trouble at borders.

Most likely, the Chinese custom will not know that you became Canadian citizen(and automatically abandoned the Chinese citizenship) and allow you in and out, as long as your passport and immigration paper appear to be "valid".

The Canadian immigration will probably allow you in even they know you've got the citizenship, because Canada recognizes dual citizenship.

So the question is whether Chinese border knows your status or not. I'll not bet on they don't know and risk to travel, but I think some people will and they did so without problems.

To be a Canadian citizen you need to know what is lawful and what is not, and to be a law-abiden citizen.

From your situation, you have already been Canadian. Usually your
Mapple leaf card should be revoked when you became a Canadian.
I have no idea how you can still keep it. If the PR card you mentioned here is PR paper which was replaced by Mapple leaf card a copule of years ago, you probably have trouble when you are back Canada with it.

You also are supposed to have MAple leaf card when coming into China,
even they don't know you are Canadian. You also have to make sure the expire date on your Chinese passport. It should be valid at leat 6 month before you get into or leave China.

I did that in 2001. It was fine, just pretent you don't have a canada passport.

Canada reconize double citizenship, isn't it? It is the isuue of chinese law if you want/dare to obey or not.

楼主不是正常情况。异常也。
