Hi,
My parents are thinking of applying for the visitor visa to spend some time with us in Canada, but their application of immigration is still in process. The immigration application is taking too long nowadays.
I know that theoretically the parents can apply to visit while waiting for immigration. However, this may not be true in practice, simply because the immigration officer will not believe you'll leave at the end of the visit. Is there any way to prove that the applicants will leave in time? (Both of my parents are retired) Did any of you have similar experience to share with me and perhaps other anxious sons and daughters?
Thank you in advance for any feedback.
