Role & responsibilities:
Conduct analysis, design, programming, evaluation, testing and implementation of computer systems programming application activities
Develop and write business applications computer software
Develop statements of problems and requirements, designs systems and programs and write programs in computer language for solution by means of data processing equipment
Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software subject matter to be programmed in business applications, information processing techniques and uses information gathered from system users to develop software
Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls
Develops conversion and system implementation plans
Required skills:
C# (multi-tier programming)
ASP.NET
SQL Server (SQL, Stored Procedures)
HTML, CSS, XML

As a key member of the Research & Development team, you will work closely with Radio
Engineers and Researchers, Project and Product Management, Testing and other teams,
developing next generation of products, using leading software technologies and approaches
including Microsoft Visual Studio .NET.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and developing high quality software to agreed time-scales
Leading analysis of new requirements
Producing work breakdown and estimations for development tasks
Task tracking and reporting
Technical mentoring of other software engineers
Playing a lead role in technical discussions within the software team
Defining GUI development guidelines and leading GUI reviews
Key Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a technical field
Assets
Minimum of 2 years commercial software development experience
Experience in the wireless industry, particularly cellular, an advantage
