Need a family-owned hotel room for a week.

My parents will go to Ottawa with me next week to help me start my college life there. Will anyone give us some telephone numbers of family-owned hotels so that we can canntact them for a room to stay for a week before I move into students'Dom? Your response will be greatly appreciated.
