Organization Profile:
Ottawa Chinese Community Service Centre is a non profit, non-partisan charitable organization providing settlement, employment support and language training services for newcomers in the Ottawa region. We are currently seeking to fill the following full time and part time positions:

1. JSW Facilitator/Employment Support Counsellor
(Full Time Contract 35 hours/week)
To provide new immigrants employment related support services including but not limited to facilitate job search workshops and one on one counselling.
2. Settlement Youth Worker (ISAP)
(Full Time Contract 35 hours/week)
To outreach and provide various services, such as information and referrals, and design, develop and organize workshops, events, activities and initiatives for Chinese newcomer youth
3. Settlement Outreach Worker (ISAP)
(Full Time Contract 35 hours/week)
To outreach to various service providers, communities, education institutions and other stakeholders to promote OCCSC services and build partnership and collaborations. To provide settlement and other related services to new immigrants
4. Settlement Worker (NSP)
(Part Time Contract 21 hours/week)
To provide one on one counseling, telephone counseling, information and referral services to newcomers to Canada. To plan, promote and facilitate orientation and other topical workshops.
5. ECE Child minding Caregiver
(Full Time Contract 35 hours/week)
To be responsible for the Occasional Childcare Services in OCCSC
6. Assistant Child minding Caregiver
(Full Time Contract 35 hours/week)
To assist the ECE caregiver for the care and supervision of children in the Occasional Childcare Services in OCCSC
7. Admin Assistant (Enhanced Language Training)
(Part Time Contract)
To assist the program coordinator and provide backup services for the program
8. Outreach Worker/Job Developer
(Part Time Contract， may lead to full time based upon performance)
To develop placement and job opportunities for JSW alumni and ELT graduates and to back up JSW worker
9. Trainer/Curriculum Developer
( 2 positions, Full time and/or Part time)
To develop curriculum for Enhanced Language Training for IT Professionals and to deliver trainings to students.
