If you're looking to build or upgrade an AMD socket AM2 system, this is a great package. Checking prices over at PriceCanada.com, you can see that this 2.6Ghz processor itself costs at least $125 by itself at other retailers. Here, you're also getting a heatsink and fan (which the processor does not come packaged with), and an online voucher for the "Black Box" game package from Valve. The Black Box game package, which was never actually sold in retail, includes Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. (You may have heard that Valve cancelled the Black Box package, but these vouchers should still be good for access to the aforementioned games according to MaximumPC).
