问一下，装窗帘架是应该直接订钉子呢还是需要用楔子呢？然后用镙丝？另外，一般多长的钉子那？

是在木头墙上钉，钉楔子还要用电钻吧?还得先买个电钻，14V够不？

It looks like you just got your house. Since at most of time it is the blinder rack decided where to put screws on the wall, you have to prepare to screw on both wood and drywall. For drywall you need EZ drywall anchor. It is easy to use. You need a stud finder too. You can find wood stud behind the drywall with it and direct screw on it.
For this job, hand tool is good enough. Don’t use power tool for drywall screws, you may damage it.
For drill any 12v is enough for most of home DIY. But if you want a battery powered circle saw 18v is a must. You want the same battery for the whole set, so go for the 18v .
