滑冰俱乐部第一次活动开始

As you know, the canal will open tomorrow (Friday). We will have our first tryout on Jan 4, Saturday. Meeting time: 2pm.

Meeting location: Dows lake 尽头的小亭子旁。这个亭子的一层是夏天用来租船用的，二层有个墨西哥餐厅。

If anybody can post a map here, you are greatly appreciated.

Weather condition on Sat: Variable cloudiness, High -3°C Low -9°C.

Dress warm and have fun!

JOY，你说的这个地方好象很难停车啊。

如果换到 DOWS LAKE，在附近找不到停车的地方，可以把车停到 LEBRETON ST (BOOTH 和 BRONSON 之间)，
那有个政府机构的 PARKING LOT，周末很空。

那样的话，我们就在DOWS lake尽头的小亭子下集合吧。 那个小亭子很好找，二楼有个墨西哥餐厅，一楼是夏天时出租船用的。

集合时间2pm.

Note: The National Capital Commission (NCC) is pleased to announce that the 33rd season of skating on the Rideau Canal Skateway will be underway tomorrow. As of 8:00 a.m., Friday, January 3, 2003, skaters and outdoor enthusiasts are invited to take to the world-famous 7.8 kilometre rink which winds through the heart of Canada's Capital. Maintenance crews are out today flooding the entire length of the skateway from the National Arts Centre to Hartwell Locks. Ice surface conditions on the skateway are expected to be fair to good. Skaters should be cautious, particularly along the edges where the ice surface is rougher, and are also urged to respect barricades and signs. It is recommended that children and inexperienced skaters be equipped with appropriate protective gear. Please note that the Patterson Creek section will be temporarily closed for construction reasons.

把车停 蓝丝洞 PARK，再过马路走几百米到河边儿，还不如就在 DOWS LAKE集合。

再说了，蓝丝洞趴车是要花十几个夸特的，也不符合帅哥的一贯作风

我也只是提个建议。明天冰上见。
