The World of Warcraft Armory
Since I am a week or two from finishing my T5 set bonuses and breaking into T6 content I decided to sit down with Cheeky's do some planning. The results should be roughly useful to any Beast Hunter finishing T5 or starting T6 content.
Important notes!
* I'm using my current gear except substituting the T5 Chest and Dory's Embrace, both of which I will have shortly. Raid buffs are included. All this has a sliding effect on the value of added stats. The only way to get very precise comparisons for yourself is to run this with your own current gear / typical buffs.
* This is with the four-piece T5 bonus intact on Chest/Hands/Legs/Shoulder slots. It also assumes a simple Steady->Auto rotation. So if an item in these four slots beats T5 then it is _worth breaking the set bonus_ all by itself. Once the set bonus is broken non-T5 items will keep the same relative order but you'll need to use the spreadsheet to determine their value against the other T5 slots.
* I'm starting at the hit cap, barely. If you are hit deficient (somehow), certain items will be worth a bit more. The nice part is that you don't have to worry about not getting your bang for the buck if a hit item looks good on this list anyway.
* Haste items may not fully deliver what is promised, as timing details apply. I have also left ranged weapons and trinkets off the list entirely to avoid such complexities.
* I sometimes swapped in +8 Agi gems if the default color gems didn't make a particularly interesting bonus. I was careful to preserve the Metagem bonus at all times.
* I left off pre-SSC gear for the most part. Probably did snag the ones which are superior to some SSC+ gear (see the rings section for example). If I did miss one which is BETTER than the last one listed in a section, let me know.
* Base 'Total' DPS is 1565.60. Current gear will show this number and is further marked with an asterisk.
