你认为今年渥太华有戏吗？trade talk

今年murray的方针是用未来的希望来换取instant成功。 送走了灵巧可爱的eaves 和爱粘球也能进球的corvo, 迎来了老江湖stillman,和嬉皮士commodore(不过commodore 打架还真不怎么地， 让我怀疑他在季后能否给带来对对手前锋的撞击力). 几场球下来后，我给murray 打85分，老江湖宝刀未老， 能传能射，我大胆预言他将会在季后成为渥太华的定海神针。
但是murray 好像没给自己打高分，又跑出去要找一个二线的得分前锋。几个吸收对象：Hossa, Tucker, Prospal, Stoll.
Hossa 就算了吧，的确给我们带来过太多快乐，但是季后还是软呀，而且太贵。
Tucker 算是宿敌，但是这哥们有用呀，能够让他弃暗投明将是ottawa的大辛。
prospal rockie 的时候在本地呆过，不过表现好象一般， 现在不知如何？
Stoll ?

MURRAY的这次TRADE在表面上看or what we called" on paper" 是成功的. 起码STILLMAN 和COMMODORE都是很有CHARACTER的队员.如果他们两个能回复到他们当年拿STANLEY CUP时候的状态, 那OTTAWA夺杯的机会就会大很多了. 当进入PLAYOFF的时候, 打架不是最重要的, 而是要看队员够不够TOUGH. OTTAWA 去年输了就是因为ANAHEIM的队员都是非常的高大凶猛, 很多OTTAWA的队员不敢在角落里和对方挣球. COMMODORE就是一个很TOUGH的队员,of course, tough <> fighting.

HOSSA太贵了, 而且他也不能FIT在OTTAWA的LINE UP 里. 我到是觉得他有可能去MONTREAL.

TUCKER好像没有WAIVE他的NO-TRADE CLAUSE吧. AGAIN, TUCKER 是个TOUGH的队员.

PROSPAL 和STALL 来OTTAWA的可能性不大.

就拿OTTAWA最近的表现来看, 很令人失望. 如果在PLAYOFF前没有特明显的变化的话, 我看他们很难过第一个ROUND.

OTTAWA最近的表现的确令人失望, 不过状态出太早也不是什么好事。季后第一被第八一猛扁也不是第一次了，而且今年bufflo 好像离第八又很近。
我个人还是觉得去年是输在土上，新senator第一次进入总决赛，简直就是不知所措， 加上状态出得太早，特别是bufflo serie. 到了鸭子们面前，已经
是强努之末了。 murray弄这两哥们， 估计也有一点弥补这方面经验的目的。 季后toughness太重要了，这理想中的最后一位引进队员应该是Garry Roberts
和Tucker 一类的。不过我还觉得门将问题还是需要解决， 感觉gerber 和emery 总在关键时候掉链子。

After witness further disappointment of 0:4 loss to Bruin, Murray should have traded the entire team yesterday before 3 pm.:flaming:

well, he did get rid of paddock after 3pm today, I recall hearing they were good friends back at whatever team they were at. I guess NHL head coach position is as insecure as working for nortel.

It is a choice of between getting rid of the entire team or fire the coach, of course, let go Paddock is the quick and easy solution. The problem started when Murray promoted Paddock to become the head coach, we all know Paddock is a good assistant coach and well liked by the players and usually assistant coach is like a filter between the head coach and the players, however, once the assistant coach became the head coach things would not go well.

It is normal for coaches to be fired in pro sports and it certainly is far more insecure than the jobs at Nortel.
