看中一个房子,想听听大家的意见,看owner的要价是否reasonable.

Emerald Meadows is a great location..

The house has decent upgrades , lanscaping and lot size, but I would re-paint the dinning room right after moving in (someone loves it, someone hates it...the color is so personalized)...:)

If it was a Minto Naismith or Douglass model (with similar upgrades) in that neighbourhood, I would go for it without a thought..but for Laurentian which is under 2500 sq ft, I may re-think about it...
 
The house is a nice one from the photos but the price is over my budget. I haven't followed up with house market for a long time, so not quite sure about whether the asking price is reasonable or not. thanks for your comments, if someone would like to give me a suggestion for how much I should put in the offer, that would be so appreciated.
 
价钱是在Bridlewood高端的,就是看看普通房子加上那些UPGRADE值不值了.似乎也没有太大的UPGRADE, FENCE和DECK是个大头.而且有些OVER-RENOVATED.有些人喜欢卧室是地毯.而且BASEMENT没FINISHED.如果以后想做的话,钱也不少.
 

去urbandale看过了,现在开发的single在高压线下面,将要开发的区(在现在model home的斜对面)价钱太贵。list在网站上的价格是一回事,但按他们的sales lady的话,每个lot都要加一定的premium。所以觉得如果有价钱合适的旧房,就买旧房算了。说到底还是:钱包不鼓,又没有胆量贷太多的钱。:(

Urbandale's new site in Bridlewood, Spring Creek is also great...lots of people are on the waiting list...

Compared with other builders, Urbandale's lot premium is very reasonable..The problem is that Urbandale's design is a bit out of date, but as far as I know, they will have new models released this time...

In terms of price, 5 year old re-sale house on the market is normally more expensive than the new hosue. You pay for the mature neighborhood.

I had looked for re-sale houses for 6 months, gave up then bought a new one..
 
今年的房子还在试水阶段. kanata的情况来看. 卖方的报价是出来了比去年同期高了不少. 但还没有成交. 现在经济情况前景不明确, 联邦选举说来就来. 最终价落那里还要看看.
