From reading the many postings here, I have observed that many posters can only look at the problem that had happened in China but choose to ignore the problems that had happened in their own backyards. If you admit Canada's treatment of aboriginals was wrong, have you guys done anything when Canada together with New Zealand, Australia and U.S to vote against the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in United Nation back in September, 2007? You blatantly attack the Chinese over the Tibet issue, without first understand the practice of slavery during the time when the Tibetan monks were in power, then you are either acting out of ignorant or you are politically motivated to demonize China. Judging China without first examine your own problem only prove you are handling the Tibet issue with double standard, which would discredit your rhetoric against China. Until I see the aboriginals language can one day become the official language of Canada then I would believe all those who attacks China today are truly motivated with the good heart. Canada is a great country, but it has a tinted spot in its history, the same for China. Let China bring prosperity to Tibet just like Canada brought prosperity to the people in this great country. It takes time, and let the Tibetan living in China, not the exiled, to judge how China has done to that piece of land 20 years from now.
