Be careful when you transport furniture
The indoor air in Canada is less humid than in Shanghai. It is more likely to have cracks in first few years. I spoke one owner during his redwood sale in Ottawa, he told me that his furniture from China had to add special treatment before shipment to Canada. If there would no cracks developed in the first two years, the furniture would be safe.
