Tankless Water Heater

最近正在准备UPGRADE房子，有一个选择是Tankless Water Heater，请高人指教。
1。 从经济上讲是否合算？
2。 Ottawa（或加拿大）的自来水温度是否太低而不适合使用Tankless Water Heater？
3。 若可行，多大流量的合适？

Water heater usually is rented not bought. If you choose tankless water heater you would pay about 40 dollar per month. Regular tank is about 20 dollar. tankless may save 50% of natural gas. It is even out by the higher rent price.
