A question to the CFC Admin, what time is the count-down based on?

GMT, Beijing time, or EST (US/Canada)?

You are correct. It has nothing to do with where I am.

But it wouldn't hurt to know if it was based on Beijing time, which should be used logically.

gmt, 北京时间， 加拿大东部时间，都是差0天7小时30分，跟时区没关系。

"今天晚上8点开幕" is 8:00pm Beijing time, NOT EST.
