Here's a very interesting offer from the Royal Bank of Canada: when you open a new Signature No Limit Banking or VIP Banking Account between May 1, 2008 and September 12, 2008, you will be eligible to receive a free Asus EEE 2G Surf Laptop. There are definitely some hoops to jump through, but that can only be expected. Here's what you'll need to do:

• Use CustomSwitch to transfer your account balance and any pre-authorized payments from another Canadian financial institution.
• Transfer or set up at least two pre-authorized payments from your new account.
