Our country is a reflectionof the many new Canadians who have immigrated from around the world and brought with them their
unique traditions, culture and values.
The RBC Royal Bank® Scholarship for New Canadians is designed to
encourage young people who have immigrated to Canada to share their experience of adjusting to life in a new country.

If you’re a graduating high school or CEGEP student who is new to Canada,we want to hear how you think immigration has helped shape the country we live in today. We’d also like you to share your personal story and offer suggestions to help future new Canadians.

Eligibility
To apply, you must meet all of the following criteria:
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, born outside of
Canada
• Graduating Canadian high school or CEGEP student who intends to enrol or enter an accredited Canadian college or university as a full-time
student in Fall 2008
• Have achieved at least a 70% average in the previous year of study
