事情是，你在国内学的英文到这里九成没用！除非...
<HTML>除非你在国内整天工作都要说英文，但是也会有问题，你的老板和同事的英文并不一定是Canadian的英文，所以还是来这里学英文才是最好。最简单的例子，我以前一直跟我那个法国MM老板说电梯是lift,但是这里人说是elevator，我还花了好几天才反应过来的。一般的意见是，即使国内很好的英文，来这里没有三个月语言关过不了，即使有工作了，但是一开会你的英文就见真底了。所以我的意见是如果经济不是问题，有本钱在这里呆个一年半载好好学习的，为何不早早来适应环境，不要等飘雪了再过来。</HTML>

<HTML>ESL is useful if your english is rarely poor. Radio, newpapers and TV is most helpful way to improve your english. Repeat the same news from radio, newspaper and TV can give you more impressive. But the most important thing is speak out! Try to talk with everyone who is willing to talk with you in the street. There are lots of old people in town who want someone to talk with.
YOu can learn French here if you like, there is some free class you can find out.</HTML>
