Pay Quebec tax as long as you live in Quebec regardless where you work - income tax is paid based on your residence address on December 31.
As to property tax difference, please see Table 6 of this article - I really love Google, which know and give me what I want.

By closely looking at this table, I just learned that Quebec actually has lower tax if you are making high income - it's a surprise for me. The paper was made in 2005 - I do not think any significant change to the tax rates has been done since then.

2 孩子的牛奶金。如果你收入低，魁省的牛奶金高。
3 汽车保险与收入无关。魁省保险要便宜很多。（我的车每月可省$100+）
4 房价。20007年Ottawa平均交易价格27万，Gatineau 16万。
5 小孩入托。魁省如果你能进公立幼儿园，$7/天。但不容易进去，要看关系和运气。
6 小孩上学。你喜欢英语学校还是法语学校？
7 交通问题。除了hull, gatineau和aylmer的交通都不大方便。如果坐公共汽车，就更不方便。两边的官僚不愿意沟通。
8 魁省的水电便宜，冷水不要钱。当然这是小问题。
