孩子小，父母在这儿帮忙，轻松多了，而且老人也挺喜欢加拿大。以什么样理由能够帮父母申请到较长时间的续签？比如续签1年甚至更长时间。 谢谢

每次续签６个月，比较保险。如申请６个月以上，有被拒签的可能。理由，最好不说是看孩子。仅供参考。

You would be better not to stay more than one year and not to ask more than one renew. Otherwise, next application would have problem.

It all depends. I never said that we wanted our parents to stay here to look after our kid when we renewed their visa --- and we got the visa renewed successfully. Our reason was "to visit more cities and beautiful scenic spots in Canada during the best season here", or "to spend more time with my daughter and son-in-law during the Christmas season......". Yet we do have friends who have also successfully renewed their parents' visa with the reason that they wanted their parents to help them babysit their newborn. The typical saying is what? "Every case is different!"
