Happen to know car in US is far cheapter than in Canada. I have a relative can help me to buy a car in NY, can expert tell me how to do it step by step?

But my case is different, I'm a new immigrant in Ottawa, not able to apply visa to US soon. So wandering if my relative can buy it in US and drive it to Canada. If it is ok, how to operate the transfer? Thanks in advance.
