Chinese passport lost-replace procedure:
1. Report to Police, ask for a "Case No. "
2. Noticing on Newspaper, cut the piece and submit
3. Fill a form (from Chinese Consulate General)
4. Better provide a photocopy of the passport
5. If the immigration paper is also lost, go to Citizenship & Immigration Canada office, ask for a
replacement, you need to show the original immi-paper (or replacement) to Chinese Consulate General to prove you are a permanent resident in Canada, and leave a photocopy to them. (For immigration paper replacement: $30 + 3 months)
6. Two (or 3) photos.
7. Waiting period about 2.5 - 3 months.
8. $130 fee when pick up (first time lost) ($300 for second time lost)
