WestJet is having a Sizzling Summer Sale with up to 40% off selected flights -- book before July 2 for travel until September 30, 2008. Here are some sample rates (one-way):

• Toronto to Halifax for $144, Toronto to Charlottetown for $149, Toronto to Winnipeg for $159
• Calgary to Kelowna for $89, Calgary to Toronto for $214, Calgary to Vancouver for $109
• Vancouver to Kelowna for $79, Vancouver to Toronto for $244, Vancouver to Calgary for $109

Here's the fine print: Advertised fares are for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and may be slightly higher on other days of the week. Taxes, fees and surcharges are extra where applicable. Fares are subject to a fuel surcharge on all one-way flights: $20 for flights 483 km or less, $30 for flights 484 to 1609 km and $45 for flights 1610 km or more. Seats at these fares are limited and may not be available on all flights.
