July 24 Update: Beerlicious is tonight! It might be a little wet outside, but are you going to let that stop you from enjoying some free beer samples? We didn't think so.
On Thursday, July 24, the King West district in downtown Toronto will be greeted by the Beerlicious King Street Crawl, which is presented by Mix 99.9 FM. This is a free event that runs between 6:00pm to 10:00pm, on King Street West from Bathurst to Spadina. Here's what the event organizers have to say:
"A Beerlicious summer sampling event featuring beer and food pairings at 10-12 hopping King Street West locations. The King West District extends to you an invitiation to join them for this unique event! Sip and socialize with your friends as you sample a different golden beverage at each stop ojn the Crawl! You don't need a ticket for this party, but we HIGHLY recommend you pick up your FREE PASSPORT (available at any of the particpating restaurants)."
If it sounds to good to be true, be assured that it isn't! This is the third year this event has been held, you can see previous forum threads about the event here (2007) and here (2006). Have a good time, but please do so responsibly. This event is people aged 19 or older.
