请问：从上海到多伦多+再转机到渥太华，两张机票如何CHECK-IN

目地的是渥太华，从上海到多伦多的机票是在国内买的，多伦多到渥太华的机票在加拿大买的(不同的时间买的，由于一些原因当时只买了上海到多伦多的)，同为AIRCANADA， 用两张不同的时间，地区买的电子机票登机是不是和买的联票一样的程序：在上海机场同时领两张登机牌分别是上海到多伦多以及多伦多到渥太华；还是必须上海到多伦多的上海的机场领，多伦多到渥太华的必须在多伦多机场重新办理CHECK-IN呢，有人知道吗？

Cowboy is correct. Your luggage cannot be "through tagged" and you will have to collect your luggage at Toronto. In Shanghai, you will only get the boarding pass to Toronto, not the other leg of your journey from Toronto to Ottawa. At Toronto, you will have to clear the immigration and the Canadian customs, get the other boarding pass from the airline counter, and of course check in again for your Ottawa bound flight. This generally is not too much trouble; however, if your flight is late coming in from Shanghai and miss the connecting flight, you are on your own -- the airline will not take care of you-- whereas if you have a through flight, they will make arrangement to get you on the next flight free of charge. hope this helps.

thanks guys. I called the aircanada today . They said that i could get boarding pass in shanghai as long as these two seperate tickets are both from aircanada. But i have to tell the counter in shanghai to check-in both and get both boarding tickets. Didnt ask the luggage info

I called aircanada service center again, another lady gave me a different answer: she's not sure if it's possible to get both boarding passes from originated airport. Got to check with the originated airport...she was tough..

I've got experience as you expect. You can check in for both flights, but in Toronto airport, you gotta check in again and drop your luggage at Air Canada's counter just outside the customs hall, they may ask you to take another flight depending on the availability, coz the planes between Toronto and Ottawa are small. But doesn't matter, usually one flight per hour, you won't wait long.

It's a little bit different from Vancouver airport, where you don't check in again, just drop your luggage to Air Canada's counter. But you made a good choice even you probably pay more, Shanghai via Toronto to Ottawa is much better then via Vancouver on shorter travel time and frequent shuttle flights between Toronto and Ottawa. In Vancouver airport, you have at least 80% chance to miss the only flight from Vancouver to Ottawa in the afternoon. You either find a hotel nearby Vancouver airport and take the flight of early next morning, of course at your own expense for hotel, or wait for available flight to Toronto and then to Ottawa, you'll be exhausted.

And don't worry about luggage, they know you connect from Intl flight, so no extra charge for two luggage.

我父母星期一从上海到多伦多转渥太华，也是分二次买的机票，所以不是联程。但是在上海机场CHECK-IN跟他们说明，让他们做成联程，这样就拿到两张登机牌，并且两件行李都是到渥太华。在多伦多出关后，拿出行李然后送入加航转运传送带就可以了。人要走出来，上楼，重新安检，入候机室。

在上海拿到多伦多至渥太华登机牌时，上面可能没有登机口号码，所以要在多伦多再看屏幕，找到登机口。

多伦多机场行李车要收费，投币二元，送回行李车后拿回25分。如果找红帽子帮忙，要给10元。

多伦多出关很快，我父母用了不到一小时，可能那天窗口多。

你的意思是说在多伦多不用再check-in 行李，放在传送带上就行了？如何知道行李是到渥太华的？凭上面的标签？请赐教，谢谢！
