A Different Kind of Course
A team of 4 to 5 professional instructors will guide you through the aspects of public speaking and leadership. Every student will have the opportunity to participate in speaking assignments in a supportive environment. Students receive individual and group feedback from the instructor team.
Two Course Levels
CLC Level 1 - This 10-week course will develop and improve your communication and public speaking skills. Gain control of your stage fright. Organize your ideas quickly to prepare and deliver effective and powerful presentations with conviction. Develop your self-confidence, communication and leadership skills.
CLC Level 2 - This 8-week course builds on the effective speaking skills developed in Level 1. Become proficient in using visual aids, microphones and lecterns. Learn how to field audience questions. Improve interpersonal and human relation skills.

CLC 1:
- Integration Resources Canada, Moodie Dr. Ottawa, starts Wednesday September 24th
- St. Margaret Mary's Church, Bank St. and Sunnyside Ave. area starts Thursday September 25th
CLC2 - Gloucester Senior Learning Centre, Ogilvie Rd. starts Tuesday September 23rd. (Must complete CLC1 before taking CLC2)
