but like i said, if 3 people a family and if neither of you nor your spouse has job now, probably qc is good choice.
1) daycare is cheap, $7 or $10/day , but u have to wait for long waiting list, but if go to home daycare (usually in basement), probably it is faster to get a spot;
2) compare the bursary or loan in qc and ON, in QC, u have bursary you don't need to pay back, similar policy in ON, but not sure how big the difference; You can ask some friends with similar situation to you but living in QC. YOu have to live here 3 months in order to quality for your loan and bursary program after landing or live 12 months if you move from other province. Double check this policy if changed.
3) some community service is French here, so sometimes you may not catch all info;
4) benefit maybe better in QC, like CCTB (牛奶金), it said higher than ON but it all depends on your family income.
5) if you have car, car insurance ususally cheaper than ON.
6) try to take the bus from Hull/Gatineau/Aylmer to see how long it will take to CU. Hull is the closest location. (Eddy street)

我以前看过老外发的讨论帖 就是讨论到底住渥太华好还是hull好 大多数人意见都是年轻时候住hull，老年住渥太华 他们讨论的原因多数是觉得魁省对小孩子的补贴很好 渥太华邻居气氛好
